I have been in Mumbai for 5 months now... And it is time to bid farewell to this beautiful city- the city which really made me bolder, the city from where which I took some crucial decisions of my life, the city where I live MY LIFE...
I have fallen in love with Mumbai... It is not a city of rich, underworld dons and terrorists as it is portrait-ed before the world... Yeah!!! The heart of the city is really rich, I could see only crores worth apartments and Benz cars all the time... But on the other side, the majority travels in the Jam-packed metro trains... Yeah, you can see a number of flamboyant cafes and restaurants including Trident and Taj but majority eat Vada Pav (5Rs each):-). Branded showrooms ka infinite shops hein idhar, but Fashion street outwits all of them at times.
So rich or poor, you can live in this great city without fear...
No one comments on how another person lives, dress up or eat unlike in other places. In Mumbai, you can feel privacy and freedom in public places even. Great he na? Since my home town is nearer (that is the one and only reason), I am accepting the transfer to Chennai. I am gonna miss the lovely place, COLABA.
I don't have any close friend here but I have been happy happy and happy and never felt lonely. I love to walk through the foot paths, have a coffee from CCD and veg toast from the small sandwitchwala. Yeah! My GYM, Befit Zone. That is a real entertainment zone for me. I started working out better the day I joined this gym. My trainers Yoginder and sherry, my oldie friend Rasheed uncle, Advt.Maya, Betty etc; I can't forget all these people. Once I fainted in the gym; that was really embarrassing, but then onwards these people started being more caring. Thank you!!!
Marine Drive is the place I love the most in Mumbai. A C-shaped coastal line- natural bay of the Arabian sea. You should see this boulevard at night. AWESOME!!! The cool breeze, the lightings and at its end, the Chowpatty beach.
My little deeds, pangs, wonders... I am sure that I am gonna loose all these and never gonna get it anywhere. But my journey is not meant to stop, I have to travel and find out new wonders at the next place... Life has to go on...
Welcome back to Chennai chechi.. :)
