Miss our dearest Magic Oven...

Magic Oven...
A cute little hang out at Nalanchira, Trivandrum...
specially meant for Mar Ivanios...
It was a secret rendezvous for us, the hostelers...

Can you guys believe that we people had escaped from the college just to have a sandwich from our favorite MO???
How many hurdles we had to master for each visits to MO... Oh my God!

First Without getting caught by the security uncles, we should go by the steps behind the college. If we get caught...thats it... warning, scoldings etc.
oh forgot...the next problem, Sr. Anniemus, our warden, whose sharp eyes were always behind the hostel girls, especially with our room...(we were too good girls... he he...)

I was a frequent visitor to Magic Oven and so Roychettayi cannot forget me.
There were times after my tuition classes, I went to MO without a single paise, have food and pay later...

You think that it is a very costly place... Never... Very reasonable...If I had only 10Rs, then I could have a big drinking glass of cold coffee... and for 6Rs, a veg sandwich.... hoooooo....

One day Roychettayi started Pork items as well. As you all know, muslims do not eat even from the places where pork is sold. When he came to know about that from Mehnaz, my room mate, Roychettayi striked out the pork items from the menu and the MO became the old MO(pork free)...

I started my habit of dropping the sauce, salt and pepper on dining table from here... One day I mixed tomato sauce, pepper, chocolate milk shake and cold coffee and made my friend to drink that... To your surprise, he drank it... But the next minute, all of them together forcefully tried to pour the remaining to my mouth... I screamed and they left me...(If a girl screams, normally guys fear. I got that lesson from that incident)

I had not been in a city before my Under graduation course for a long time. This kind of hang outs were a surprise for me.
My good friendships developed in that small room... Many of my first experiences have started from there, my first crush, my naughty stuffs, everything...

Lot of memories with Magic Oven...
Yeah, It is really a magical place indeed, a place which really makes you to get involved with your pals, make u laugh when the juicy sandwich melts in the mouth...
a place which makes you relaxed with the magic touch of cold coffee in the tongue....

I love Magic Oven...

(yesterday I told Rahul on MO that made me to post this blog)
